Default SL springs at front SSL at rear?

Hey guys I just went king spring super lows on my vx although I'm not real happy with the Hight so instead of going SSL all around can I just go super super low at the rear and super low at front? Or will I wreck my rear tyros and shit much faster? I am trying to save money that's why I don't want to go SSL all round. Got Monroe gt shocks in ATM

I just don't think it is low enough :P although it is an acclaim so it has no s/ss bodykit. I am getting an ss kit/monaro front on it within the next few weeks so I guess I'll wait till then because that should make it look lower. I was told by my mechanic to go the same height all round because if you did go lower at the back you will burn your rear tyros much more

you can lower the back more and it wont hurt your tyres at all if you get it aligned after putting the new springs in....assuming you have a series 2 with adjustable rear suspension....otherwise your tyres will chew out wither way

I prefer the look with the back lower and i have the SL SSL combo you mentioned....what this does do tho is makes the car a bit more oversteer prone as the rear is stiffer than the front

This is the look it gives

I would actually recommend it, the front absorbs more bumps so having the slightly higher springs is so much more comfortable and avoids most of the hassles with going over speed bumps etc

SSL all round is so inconvenient

I run standard FE2 in the front and SL's in the rear, so not the same but the same principle (1 step lower in rear then front) and its fine

slightly lower in the rear is better but if you go sslows then recomend you get a rear camber kit then have front and rear camber AND toe adjusted
then you wont have tyre issues
