    Default required coolant for VT?

    hey guys,
    just flushed my radiator and replaced it with the SCA coolant which says "not suitable for cars that require anti freeze/ anti boil coolant"

    just hoping thats not what this one needs lol

    also its not suitable for alloy engines past 1980 something

    any one with info?

    lol

    SCA sell cheap as $5 coolant BUT it's not suitable for alloy engines...

    so LS1 = no

    Ecotec = yes

    old iron head pre ecotec = damn yes

    few cars are iron block these days

    make sure you use the extra additive of anti freeze anti boil in tablet or liquid form.if ya gunna use cheap shit coolant u may as well use water.dont skimp its cheap insurance on ur engine
