Hey,
I am slowly but surely getting my sound system put in, at the moment I have 2 12" Fusion Reactor subs, a couple of speakers and all the amps I need. It's all in it's box and ready to go. All I need now is a new head unit and a wiring kit and I will be ready to go!
I'm leaning towards getting the Alpine iDA-X305S ($320 off eBay). And just wanted to see if anyone has experience with that one or can suggest something else.
Thanks!
try buying a mono block amp as they're the best in sound as i've got one hooked up to two subs in the boot kenwood amp and 2 12' inch subs both kenwood and getting a new head next year
have you considered a dual din?
i'm about to start redesigning my system! time for a change
currently i'm running an older pioneer single din, although it's chewing up some cd's as time go's on! so time for a change! why not rip it all out and start again i say!!
have gauges under it, but they are more of an annoyance then anything!
my wagon's currently running 2 x 15's in the back, powered by a 3500watt pioneer "monoblock" although they still run in stereo!
it hammers! putting my db meter in the car i'm pushing about 108db! basically, that's ####ing loud!!
To nathan1, your post makes no sense, the OP asked for H/U options, what have amps got to do with that.
To andrew_oc42, what is the model of that amp, I can't seem to find it anywhere? Also you might want to check out your dB meter, my door speakers would achieve 108db with just 64wrms.
To the OP, I've had a look at a few stores (mainly JB) and out of all the H/Us I looked at, that had the best tuning capabilities. Though JB didn't really have many good H/Us on the wall, either that or the manufacturers just aren't making many good H/Us these days.
