Default VT Wagon 5.7 Feels A Bit Sluggish Kicking Down

    Hi All,

Just bought the wagon on the weekend, and after taking it on a 300km run it doesnt feel right. It has 217,000 on the clock and I bought it from the original owner and has a lot of service info that came with the car.

Crusing along and at idle all is fine, but try and kick it down a gear and it feels a bit sluggish. I have owned two 5.7's before one VT ex chaser and a VY manual SS that I bought new. This one has had the following done in the last 9 months.

2 x sets of plugs and leads.
    2 x fuel filters.
    2 x O2 Sensors.
    1 x Airbag Module.
    Several on car injector cleans.
    2 x air fliters
    2 x Decarbs

Plugs/leads/fule filter only 5 months old so where to next? I dont remember my VT ex chaser being this sluggish so your thoughts would be appreciated. I am now leaning towards coild packs but correct me if I am beeing a peanut.

    Cheers

ok compression check was done, everything fine. Auto was serviced with complete flush two months ago. On scan tool yesterday, no faults logged. I am now leaning towards a fuel regulator or maybe suspect ecu.

I am with this guy, I reckon it could be the stock tune. I'd recommend getting a mail order tune from one of the many tuners on here (I hear Enhanced Automotive are good), plug it in and away you go. You'll find normally you can get improved performance and ecconomy out of a new tune.
