Last night the ignition barrel went on my VT. So I get the ACC position, and all the associated lights, but it wont turn over. The key spins around but it wont turn over.
Looking through the site it seems that I have a bung ignition barrel.
Is there a way that I can manage to get the car to start if I cant turn the key by shorting/earthing the solenoid/starter motor?
No because then the immobilisers will stop it.
