guys am new to the form i hope somebody can help me with my car coz am really desperate.
i got a vx v6 commodore my problem is it shudder just a little bit at only idle in d or park but once you drive it drives really smooth and nice.... the shudder at idle its not annoying like it go and come and go and come. i did replaced as follows and didn't fix the problem. new engine mounts. new o2 sensors. new spark plugs and wires. cleaned injectors on car. replaced air filter cleaned throttle body as well. cleaned all sensors and didn't fixed it.
guys am really fed up with it PLZ HELP ME PLZ.

thanks for replying man....i will post video soon....... if the air flow meter is down then for sure a check engine like will light. is it or am wrong??? coz the car drive very good engine doesn't misfire at all.

i can feel the steering wheel slightly vibrate just a little bit and if i put my hand on the air compressor tube or the Plenum chamber u can feel a little bit of vibration or shudder that go and come like it stops and then it comes back.
i forgot to mention that i did clean the maf sensor with crc cleaner and i did replaced the purge hose from Holden as well. its really driven me crazy what else to look for ????
Take it out/Take it Back
Go get your injectors ultrasonically cleaned. Dont waste your time running those flushes through it.

idle speed i think its between 650 and 600 in drive and in n is between 700 to 750. is the idle speed adjustable????? or its electrly controlled by iac???

The idle speed is fine, it is not adjustable and is controlled by the IAC valve (motor)

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
am really sick of it. do i have to live with this problem??
the most mysterious thing is that the car drives excellent no problem at all it accelerate good . only engine shudder or vibration at idle in n or d with moving the car. if you put a paper or a plastic bag on the passenger side seat u can see that they shakes.

my mates bmw was doing the same thing and it was his air flow sensor..
guys i give up am still thinking what can cause an engine to shudder at idle replaced a lot of things . car run perfect without any problem at all..
today i reset the ecu 3 times and dis the battery but still same. its driving me nuts revs doesn't fall at all its almost a light shudder only at idle or in d.
check vaccuum hoses , also clean iac and tps , mech may have moved something and forgot to reconnect .
mate where abouts in sydney you live?? i know of a holden wiz in western sydney who might be able to help hey?!
mate sensors are in place and i did clean the iac and tps as-well . i think there is no vacuum leak at all coz my revs is smooth it doesnt play up.
mate i went to Holden they plug an tech2 in the car and didn't show any error code and he test every thing like air flow- injectors flow- misfire and all came back good.
just throwing it out there...what is the battery like, have you checked it and the alternator? earth points?
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
PM with any info.
man today i went to an auto electrician and he tested the alternator and battery all good under load showing 13.8 to 14.2. battery is new from century.
mate should the engine move slightly a bit upon revs in gear or in n upon replacing the engine mounts or it should be solid ????? coz i suspect that my engine mounts are faulty although they are brand new from Holden. i think i might ask pedders coz they fit them in my car.
haha he worked for holden for many many years so he knows commodores inside out!
