How to remove vu headlight covers?

Hey guys,
Got a vu ss ute and the headlight covers are really clouded so I'm trying to get them off to clean th inside of them. However not having much luck without causing damage to the edges of th glass cover....
Anyone able to help me out on this???

there should be 2 fairly large metal clips on the tops of them?! that you unscrew and take off?
