    Default VTIi 3.8L SUPERCHARGER

    Hi
Does anyone know if the supercharger from the VTii S will bolt on to a standard 3.8L motor?

If you have all the other bits, ECU, harmonic, heads, injectors, LIM, extra pulleys and mounting brackets, blower to TB elbow, fuel rails and water piping. Yes it will fit, but the ECOTEC runs higher compression.

Far easier just buying a L67 complete and bolt it in.

Correction the L67 is an ECOTEC just a supercharged version even on the stock badges it specifies ECOTEC.

wow, the badges on my car must be wrong then.....cause all mine says is "SUPERCHARGED" and then underneath that "V6".....no mention of ECOTEC at all.

They are different....stronger rods, lower compression and other bits and pieces. As Decicrate said, far easier to just buy an L67 and be done with it.

That's the same with our VX is says SUPERCHARGED and then under it is has V6 no mention of ECOTEC at all. We must of got ripped.

No where can I find reference of a Supercharged ECOTEC, the references given are usually L67 or simply Supercharged V6 Series I, II, III, which each have slightly different upgrades.

Are you sure? Do you have any experience with these supercharged ecotecs? G.C.Photography must know, he has 200rwhp/ 149.14rwkw

Hahaha, yeah I think Decicrate might know. 200rwhp is just letting an L67 breathe, nothing huge.
