coolent temperature sensor?????
guys whats involved in replacing the coolant temperature sensor????and is this is the correct way to check if its working fine by going to hidden mode and watch it rising or what?????

V6 or V8 what model car?
coolant temp sensor is simple to replace, unclip the plug, then simply unscrew. there is a way to check its operation but i dont know what the specs it should be within.
any reason you suspect the coolant sensor

no mate but someone had told me that u need to flush the coolant first coz the coolant passes through it.
why are you wanting to change it?!
and yes id assume the coolant would pass through it LOL
its just below the thermostat housing so just drop a little bit out,change the sensor then put it back in.
