okay, i blew my heater tap in the engine bay, and the other day i looked at a coolant to find it to be brown and more solid, but my reservoir is bright green and full, car does not over heat, ive had to top it up for the last 3 days, its been pressure tested etc. but could there be a block in the raditor? any ideas its upto the mechanics tomorrow...

I Would drain out all the coolant, give it a good flush with the hose till its clear, refill with new coolant then bleed the system and see how it goes.
