Lowering my vt

Just curious on a price to put ssl front and rear on a 97 vt s PAC, was quoted $550 all up. Sound right? I was shocked

yeah sounds about right, i paid 600 at pedders.. bit pricey but it was right next to work.. more convenient.

Rip off, I paid $400 for springs/install/wheel alignment at The Tyre Factory....King Springs and all spring heights are the same price.

I just put a set of Kings SL's with Monroe GT Sport shocks in all round for under $700

I payed 469 for ssl's all round and BOGE shortened rear shocks and struts and put em in myself hehe heaps cheaper

Pretty easy to do your self, keep a eye out on ebay for 2nd hand kits of you want it really cheap or its a little over 400 to buy new. Putting at the end of the list for my car though, I wouldnt lower without camber kits.

Ur right I bought the camber kit and put it all in at the same time. Everyone says it's too hard but it's not really just time consuming. But u do it urself save a few hundred bucks and u get satisfaction knowing u done it all urself

Okay so I just got quoted roughly $1500 by the tyre factory to lower my car with springs/shocks and camber kit (rear) - Now i'm guessing that means camber kit is only for rear... I'm hoping they didn't mean ONLY rear springs/shocks + the camber
(was an email quote if anyone was wondering)

Anyway, is that a rough price to expect? When I lower my car, I want to do it properly: So anyone know where the best place would be to go? I want SL's all round, shocks and the camber obviously. I reckon I could get all the parts for about $700-800ish
How much would I expect to pay in labour if I took the parts to someone? Or how much to just buy the parts and get them to install from a shop?

I paid $260 including postage to my door for brand new King SSLs front and rear around a year ago. eBay is your friend.

ive got a set of king springs, SSL rear and SL front in the box looking for $150, ive also got a k-mac 4 point camber adjustment kit to suit $100

or $200 the lot if anyone's interested. Sold, no more emails plz

The camber kit is pretty easy to fit, i can help with instructions if needed.
