vx stereo question
hey guys...ive just recently installed a stereo into my car and ive been experiencing some dimming when its turned up loud.Mainly when the sub kicks...which cant be good for the car. i was thinking that maybe a capacitor would help..but most people tend to disagree, and i remember reading something about how upgrading your earthing can help guite a bit....Can anybody share some advice?
also, if i was to upgrade my earthing, How would i do that? i understand the concept of earthing but not sure what needs to go to what.

The earthing you would have heard about would be the BIG 3. This means run upgraded cable from the alternator to battery, battery negative to engine, and battery negative to chassis.
Use 4-gauge for the alternator to battery positive, and for the two grounds use the same size cable as you have running to the boot.
