Mate, were your old springs original springs ?. Maybe they were saggy. 30mm is about fe2 height. With my cars springs in both, I'm yet to see any drop in height.

    Yeh original springs
Heres the story my machaic told me my bearings are stuffed
So he told me you need to buy new bearings and bushes so i did $140
Than when he was removing the front wheel he tells me the strut is leaking
So he say new struts would be $125 each side
So i said ok do it
Than he removes the old springs from old struts.....I couldn't belive me eyes one spring it about 4 inch's smaller than other side
I am kicking my self i was so lazy for not taking the struts out to see for my self..What was needed
Realy only problem was one spings saged And bearing
Bushes looked like they had no wear..Just looked like new ones just a little bit more dirty
    .....Now
i have a stiffer ride... Which i don't realy like....Is it stiff because of the springs??? Or the new gas struts????????
I am even thinking about removeing these gas struts and finding some stock struts and chopping the springs.....Or buy some other Lowered springs
Will it be not so stiff when all if settled in?????????????

    Don't cut springs EVER!!
The springs in your car now are most likely different that the others that were in there, and now you have new struts which are new and the other ones were stuffed, so it will be a firmer ride.
You will see a difference in height, but I don't think the ride will get softer.

    Thats for your input

What makes the car so firm at front....New springs???...New struts??? one or the other or both??
What could i do to make it more of a nicer ride??? Change springs again??? Or change struts???
Is there any way of taking this to a shop to make it softer????
    Thankyou

I understand when you lower a car the ride gets stiffer but i am just after something in between
