Headlight bracket

I got a vt commodore with a headlight problem.
The bracket is cracked and i dont want to pay 200 bucks for one...its a bit to exxy for liking.

If i drill into the light to reattach it i will crack the light and i dont wanna get water into the light...

any ideas?
