oil pressure problem

hi could someone tell me what could be wrong with my vt berlina station wagon.
my oil light comes on after about 10mins of driving but only comes on when i slow down coming to a stop and then turns back off when getting back up to speed. thats not all, about after twenty mins of driving my car stops completely, the whole car shuts down ,loses power. please help!

Have you checked the oil level because if the level is too low it can cause the symptoms you described.

have you tried using an oil flush before oil change ?

maybe you have sludge build up i've seen it on engines with only 100k causing the same problem
