How do I make my LS1 sound quieter?

it has extractors, dual SS cats, dual 2.5" catback

what can i stick into it to quiet it down a bit? like a resonator?

it's gets really loud over 3,000

Sounds pretty good.
If you want it quieter replace the mufflers.

Ebay some Edlebrock mufflers. $250 a pop but sound excellent. You'll get that really nice note but at 2/3 the volume.

i see a fair few stock mufflers around for cheap <$100 (ie. ex HSV etc. etc.)

i mean it's real fun gunning it in tunnels and stuff but i get my kid around in it too

yeah dude just wack a standed system back on ,there about a quite as they come.You could even find someone on here willing to swap with you most people want to go louder.

We have 3 kids between us and our Senator doesn't have any mufflers at all. It is really loud, the kids love it, we love it, we don't go stupid so we have never been looked at by the police. And it is my partners daily at the moment while her car is having a tidy up.

I recently replaced the rear muffler on my system and it made a huge difference.
