changing cluster facias, help please

ok so my mate has a cluster facia that is a hsv one that goes up to 250ks, my one in my vt only goes to 220, so if i put this facia into my cluster will i need to get my speedo recalibrated?

I dont think you can get your speedo recalibrated to read up to 250km if its a 220km unit. It will still be correct up to 100km/h as the spacings are the same, but from 100-220 it will progressivily read faster than you are actually going.

EG @120 will read 123 and @180 read 195

if its guna be accurate from 0-100 i wont even worry about it then. how often do u go over 100ks around town? hardly ever i dont do long distance driving
