im having trouble starting car ive notice that while its cranking the security light pulses with the cranking off the car any ideas?????

Key reader faulty (the silver ring around ignition barrel) or key remote fob faulty

When this happened to me it was the BCM (Body Control Module). Can you still unlock the car with the remote?

yeah still can unlock doors

replace the key reader 1st as its the cheapest option 2 start with and just make sure u get the series 2 readers, which u should have anyways being a VX. series 1 readers had a common fault in them.
