    Default MY VT Berlina S1

Hey guys, this is my VT Berlina S1.

    It is stock other than:
    ~19x245 CS8 Monaro Wheels
~black monaro headlights with blue halo parkers.
    ~clear side indicators
~Stock radio unit has been removed, temporary cd player in with the whole filling insert.

Also i believe the colour is Orion, any confirmation would be great

Sadly it still has the series 1 tail lights with amber indicators. I dont want to do anything outrageous or clone it like everyone else with the vx harnish, monaro/vx light setup. I would however with to change the amber indicators. I was thinking about just putting the S2 lights in and being done with it, but then i saw these lights.

I would change to these if i could find a garnish that matches them. Any thoughts?

Don't reckon I'll do the vx treatment, everyone does that and it's not a vx, it's a vt. Just tryin to see if here's any nice vt options, but s2 lights seems the most likely thing.

Looks a nice car mate, I think the VT SII tail lights are the way to go, I have to agree with you- it's not a VX- shouldn't try to make it one.

    What about window tinting?

Good base to start with, go the Series II Tail lights or VX Calais Taillight/Garnish and:
    Window tint
    Calais chrome window surrounds
Definitely lower it, SL rear and low front is fine

    Interior:
    Leather Steering wheel (Calais)
Leather Handbrake and shiter with chrome buttons (Calais)
Get a Blue L.E.D conversion for your interior switched and cluster

Then you've got engine mods etc. The list goes on and on, it really depends how far you want to get into it and how long you want to keep your car for

A couple more pics, for the sake of it.

Also, does anyone know if vx berlina/calais garnish's fit straight on or if rewireing is required like an exec garnish?

Why didn't you ask me mate? I've done it. Yeah you'll need to wire the reverse lights up from the right hand side to the left, and you'll need to wire the parker/brake from the garnish loom, pretty simple.

Na surprisingly they are actually in the tail light, the white bit on the garnish is blank which is strange, should of been the reverse lights, but the VX Calais Tail Light/Garnish still are the best looking tail lights you can get

Oh, i wonder if you can simply fit the reverse lights into the blank lights on the garnish? i reckon that would look alot better, and would be so much easier to fit it to a VT as well.

Has anyone with velour seats had the experience where the material sepereates from the padding underneath so its just loose? can this be restuck without pulling all the material off the seat? like an absorbant adhesive or something?

Its just the drivers seat and im not a fan of seat covers, even the nicer fitted ones as it ruins the factory look.

any advice would be great, cheers

Had a look and there is no slot for a globe but i guess you could cut out a bit of the plastic and stick a globe in

Also noticed sometihng weird, there is a space to put in a globe on the right hand side of the parker/brake light but nothing on the left hand side
