    Default damn power windows

hey every one had a MATE!!!!! spill his drink on my main power window switch and kill it. so i deiced to pull it out and have a look bad idea when u not in a good mood (took several small gouges out of my wood grain) so now i am looking for a second hand power window switch and the bottom section of the wood grain (it looks like it comes in pices from wat i can see)

now ill be honest i don't earn alot of money due to i am an apprentice and i am taking my mum up north for Christmastime so i am pleading a lil bit for the power window switch i can come up with what ur asking but if its a lil pricey if i could make it in two payment well thats it

Get a can of electrical circuit cleaner from Dick Smith or Jaycar and spray heaps of it into the gaps where the switches are and that might help. It would work better if you pull the switch block apart and sprayed it to make sure the contacts are clean. Careful pulling it apart as I think there are springs and stuff that could go flying.

I am pretty confident that you can fix it. I just had a look at the can I got from Jaycar and it is called Electronics Cleaner Spray.

Check this video out. Its pretty detailed on how to get it out and pull it apart carefully to clean it
I used it to try and fix a dodgy switch in my VT . but found that it was broken

I have a spare power window module minus the Driver's side button . maybe you could use your spare switches and make a working one again

Like accentstencil said . It can be cleaned . But do it with care

Do the rear switches work and have you checked the fuse?
