Indicators do not flash.

Hi,
My indicators on my VX Commodore have a intermitant problem. They just stay on and not flash as they should. Only works properly now and then. Could it be a relay or the flasher unit?

Where is it located? Is it in the black Relay/Fuses compartment between the Battery and the RHS Strut mount in the engine compartment?

the fuse box under the steering wheel mine had the same problem its a 15 dollar relay

"the fuse box under the steering wheel mine had the same problem its a 15 dollar relay" or if you are broke like me, a quick trip to the wreckers for a second hand one until you have the dosh for a new one. My wrecker usually does not charge for items like that.

Thanks for the info. Cost me $30 for a generic one from Supercheap. I guess they were $15 some time ago. Wonder what Holden charge?

prob $190 + $230 for fitting. lol. i dont really know tho. lol

My old man had the same problem in his VX.. ended up being the indicator arm- there was a short in it somewhere and it caught fire when he was driving one day :S
