    Default Drivers side manifold bulge

hi guys, just noticed my drivers side manifold is leaking and then saw it has this bulge in it, the bolt towards the rear also has this same bulge and is actually leaking worse, im wondering has someone done them up too tight or is the bulge normal, here is a picture

Looks like your Rocker Cover on Drivers Side. It's made of hardened plastic. Pick up a replacement at wreckers or holden. Remember to replace gasket seal around rocker covers as they have a life span and leak after a long while. Easy enough fix, just undo all the bolts and carefully lift up. Put new rocker cover on with new seal and tighten back up.

Nar the bulge is normal man just change rocker cover gaskets. U can't overtighten em coz the bolts bottom out so really can't go any tighter unless u wanna break em lol

The bulge is part of the design of the rocker covers. Leaking rocker covers on ecotecs is a common common fault. Change em and clean the rocker cover to head mating surface with thinners to remove all deposits of oil and you will be fine. Tighten the bolts firmly and no more as they are only a 12 Nm bolt which is not a hell of alot
