rear view cam
blue led
console light

Good list so far man!!!
Depends how far you want to go,
VY SS Pedals
VY/VZ steering wheel
Chrome Shifter button (if auto)
etc etc
yeah thanks
would like to do the chrome shifter button, should of done it when i did the blue led lights for the trac and power buttons but what a pain taking the center console out
pedals i like will get those
i 'd like to somehow fit a still cam behind to rear view mirror to take pics when shit happens in front of you and there isn't enough time for the phone camera
auto windows when dead locked? please explain![]()
doin skids for the kids and doughnuts for the grown ups
lol if you leave your windows down, you can get out, deadlock it and it automatically winds the windows up, one by one.

have you got any interior footwell courtesy lights?
If not, then it is a very nice interior touch that is easy and cheap to do.
I dunno what your into, but maybe a gauge pod made up to fit in somewhere in the dash?
is that all..... Im gonna try it out

cheers for that
it's exactly what i was looking for
enjoy - I like it so much I got one for the wife's car. I have some nice videos of some of the noobs out there - a chick who walked right in front of me while txting, some crazy driving - and not to mention, my last accident... It was side impact (need more cameras?) but the camera tells the story as I mosey down the road minding my own business, can see the guy waiting to pull out into traffic, and just as I dive past he pulls out *bang* - in this instance the guy owned up 100% straight away - but the video would be hard to explain if he tried it on...

Video quality is bloody good for the price. I found that using quality sd cards makes a difference.
Time/date stamp. Records in chunks of 5/10/15 minute clips (user selectable) - most importantly, it turns itself on/off with the car.
can record 1280x720 or 640x480 at 30fps in H.264 format - around 150mb per 5 minutes.

i mounted two 2" gauges under my dvd in the pocket thing. I also installed hidden led's in my cup holder so it has a soft glow.
I have small hidden leds in all the storage compartments and cupholders so that it's possible to find stuff at night time, and of course added console bin light, footwell courtesy etc.
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
some good ideas regarding interior lighting never thought of putting lights in the cup holders
will use the left over led's to do that as well as foot well lights
fletch's idea was great already ordered one cos so much random sh*t goes on will be good to catch
pedals are also on the way too
cheers
the camera idea is perfect im gonna get one now, i live in Victor Harbor SA its gods waiting room, the average driver age here is like 80 odd, i often on way to work and way home, i use my phone holder which is mounted to windscreen to record with the iphone, but this idea is perfect, thanks
