    Question Tail light questions?

Hey guys im going to order some monaro lights for my VX as a present for xmas from my fiancee. Im having a tough time telling these apart?

I have found these 2 on ebay and theres 2 ones im looking at from the same seller but quite a bit of a price difference:

HSV VT VX Commodore & VZ Monaro Altezza Tail Lights New (eBay item 170579356128 end time 24-Dec-10 15:37:13 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

    And...

VT VX Commodore HSV VZ Monaro Altezza Tail Lights New (eBay item 170579356422 end time 24-Dec-10 15:39:00 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

All i can really tell that is different is that the second one has a darker lens?

Im kinda going for this look...

So im guessing it would be closer to the second ebay link? Im thinking the red ones would stand out a little to much on a black vx? Opinions are welcome

    Cheers.

Yeahh they look like the birghter red ones. Maybe you could tint them lightly. Or just stay on the safe side and buy the ebay ones..

WTF? Over $200 for fake Monaro lights?

Id be getting a genuine set from Holmart for $169. If you are really keen on getting tinted, talk to a place that does spray tinting.

Another thing you can do is get a VT SS rear bar and put that on (fits spot on). The genuine Monaro light have the reflector built into them so you can ditch the poxy reflectors in the VX bar. I did this on my previous VX SS and looked nice and neat

Im not a fan of paying extra for rip offs. Have seen a couple of the altezza lights go pear shaped (workmanship and fitting). All depends on what the owner wants at the end of the day I guess
