Hey guys, now i will admit that i am not a fan of changing the vt garnish to the vx oes and fitting vx lights etc.
..BUT
I know it can look horrible if done wrong but i saw a VT the other day down the street, where the owner had simply painted the garnish, bar the white strips, the same colour as the car and it actually looked really good while retaining the VT style rear end.
What im interested in is if anybody know anyone thats done it, or has done it themselves and could tell me if the red plastic garnish is a difficult thing to paint, to get the final look to match the rest of the car exactly, or whether the look of the paint once complete is slightly different to the body of the car. Also if anyone would reccomend doing this?
I would like to upgrade the rear end in some way, bit there really arent any actual VT options other than S2 lights, so this is just a thought.
plastic primer then a can of paint in your colour code
as above
and you will need to relocate the reverse lights to make them visible, cos they are in the garnish.
