window door glass noisy squeek creak

Do your windows squeek and creak when fully up?, drop them 2cm and they are silent?
After years of trying graphite, PTFE, silicone, candle wax, I spent a few hours with search and found this post

DND has nailed it, took 10 minutes to do both front doors, and now the glass is silent, and i don't mean an improvement, I mean silent.
I used a large cable tie to wipe some grease on the horizontal metal plate, you need to get just under it as well, as it is curved/tapered.
