smokers pack wanted (s/e melbourne)

would anyone know where theres one avaliable in s/e melbourne. i know they come up on ebay a bit, wreckers are hit and miss. i knew a wrecker who had one local when i didnt have the cash, and when i went back a week later, it was gone

Sorry I cant help you out but you might want to try the classified section, you can post wanted to buy items there. Lots of people are wrecking VT's at the moment, that would be your best bet.

VT Commodore come optional with a ash tray or a flip down compartment Im pretty sure.

it's an ashtray with an extra socket on the side

so basically you end up with 2 sockets

good if you wanna power a gps and something else too (ipod, in car camera)???

Google search is a really great tool when you are searcing for something such as the 'smokers pack'. I managed to find a couple for the VY/VZ in about 10 seconds. vz commodore smokers pack, Cars, Bikes, Boats items at low prices on eBay.com.au. yeah, the smokers pack in the vt (seems to be) a glorified ash tray.
there is one on ebay a.t.m, but the guy wants $100 bucks for it. im not that DESPERATE. i think the best bet will be to ring every wrecker in town, then if no luck, have a look at a pickapart for now.
i need to smoke health sticks in my car dammit (cough, hack, splutter)!
when u think about it, its pretty environmentally unfriendly not to include an ashtray as standard in such a big selling car. forget fuel emmissions. discarded cig. butts are worse i think.

ill check them out too on monday. its just a phone call, so no big deal. i am pretty sure they wont stock them though. funny if they do and they are only cheap though.

most of the ash trays got fitted in the over seas models as the laws changed after 95 over here that ash trays and the sig lighters were not allowed 2 b produced anymore which is y they r now called 12V outlets.

So try the US ebay u'll prolly find them more on there.
