Need vt help asap

last night after comming home i pressed the lock button and the car beeped at me only once so i went back to the car pressed unlock got in started it up all normal shrugged it off turned it all off locked did the same thing

went out just then the unlock button didnt work so i was like ok flat battery so i got my spare same thing so i stuck the key in the door and it unlocked only the drivers side jumped it went to start it nothing looked around noticed the alarms light wasnt flashing and the dash was 100% blank
so im leaning towards a flat battery

anyone else got any other ideas first?

Make sure the battery terminals and clamps are clean and tight.

All the usual suspects, battery, alternator, cable connection points and a possible earth leak/short somewhere. Just a matter of elimination. When did you last check battery water, terminals and the cable mounting points, both ends of all cables, for corrosion. Check all your fuses inside and under the bonnet while you are at it. Only takes 1/2 hour and well worth doing. Can save you a bundle at the sparkies

Sounds slightly like mine. i have one terminal that plays up from time to time. i have heard the one beep. ive had the cd player ask for the code the next day. ive seen the dash go blank. and its all this terminal that plays up occasionally. i'm just going to change them both when i get around to it.

got the battery checker out battery dropped its guts completely no idea how no lights or anything where left on meh
