help needed urgently please
hi i have a vt 5ltr 5 speed and need to know can i put a v6 manual tail shaft in it and how can i tell if its a auto or manual tail shaft cos the shaft that goes into the box doesn't look like it sits in properly when all bolted up ready to drive and how much would i be lookin at payin for a manual tailshaft from a wreckers please respond asap as i live in the bush and need to get my daughter to the doctors if any thing happens to her thanks

I can't guarantee my answer, but I suspect the tailshafts would be different lengths as the engines are different sizes. I think the 5L is a longer engine so it may sit further back.
