hi just bought a supercharged vx it has a aftermarket pulley on the snout going by a boost gauge it had 8.5 psi i want to change it to a 10 or 10.5psi one but am not sure on what brand of pulley it is i have....i have posted some pics to see if anyone can identify it for me plz thanks in advance
would it be better if i took some measurments of it and post it here
if ya did measure it you would know/find out what boost its ment to have.. if its already the 10psi size ya shouldnt go any smaller/higher boost cause ya will loose power,(but if its got different rockers it will drop a bit of boost.. or guage could just be reading wrong, or have other issues causing ya to loose boost) .
but i know its not the same as mine, mine has 5 bolts not 6 and mine is a zzp pulley..

could be one of these, well its got 6 bolts
This a Mace/ZZ performance setup

thanks guys much appreciated yea im thinking its a FIT one
its a fit one for sure
thanks airforceone
i have measured the pulley it is 86mm would any one be able to tell me what psi this pulley is please
it would be 10psi pulley i think... 8.5psi Seems pretty close to normal to see on the guage straight up... Mine was about the same but hit or got close to 10psi towards red line...
Ya shouldn't go any smaller than what ya got now with out a cooler,
ok ty for your help .... hmmm if i have a 10 psi pulley i should get 10 psi at or around redline shouldn't i?...... it is stock except for the pulley and a 2 1/2" twin catback ex would the ex be affecting the boost ? i have been searching the forums looking for the how to to fix it found it a week ago but cant find it now i know you plug a hose off and put a filter on the actuator but cant remembe which hoses any help would be appreciated
I pretty sure this is what looking for nut you will have to join www.L67torque.com to see it

My advice is dont though unless you want problems
thanks heaps for your help vsl67 ........i could i do this to eliminate where my boost is disappearing to couldn't i ? if it makes no difference then thats not it lol......... im pretty sure the boost guage i was using was accurate as its part of the dyno my car was on
vsl67 what probs have you herd of from deleting the bypass solenoid??? i thought deleting it just stopped the ecu from having anything to do with controlling the boost, and if its a little faulty and causing ya to loose a little boost ,will fix that too........ hmmmmmmm thou i have had to replace one accurator so far since deleting it
i'd expect/think it would get near 10psi if mine did, not 100% sure....just check all ya vac lines, check ya accurator's working properly, shutting fully and the diaphram's inside its not leaking, check ya belts clean and tight and not slipping..
the exhaust might help it drop a tinny bit of boost, i know better rockers , ported heads, cam, extractors, ect all help drop the boost, the better ya motor is and flows the less boost you'll see on the gauge.
