I have a VX Berlina where my left indicator stopped working, it started ticking before it stopped but now my right one works and my left one doesn't, I checked the globes and they seem to be fine, can anyone help?
You might need a new flasher unit, located in the fuse panel below the steering column. What happens when you put the hazard lights on?

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
I haven't tried putting the hazard lights on, didn't think of that, so if I do and they work it would more than likely be the flasher unit?
The hazard lights dont work
I think the flasher unit is stuffed. I'm pretty sure that the hazards and the indicators are controlled by the one flasher unit. Twenty something dollars should get you a new one.

Thanks alot, I'll give that a shot and see how I go.
I replaced the flasher unit and still not good, the hazard lights did actually work on the old flasher (never get the wife to check this!!) as well as the new but the left indicator still does not work, could it be the wiring?
Could it possibly be a fuse?
No, I have replaced that as well
sounds like the indicator stalk is stuffed.cruise control & indicator stalk Holden VT VX Commodore (eBay item 320622042379 end time 24-Jan-11 16:25:42 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats this is the cheapest 1 i could find on ebay dont know if will suit the berlina though.![]()
