    Default ecotec reverse plenum question?

    just a question, im getting a reverse plenum put on this week and was wondering what should i do with the throttle cable???? do i have to shorten it or whats the go????

    Check with the JC member by the name of Blakvsexec.

    They've done a how to on making a reverse plenum, they might have the answer you need

    just had a look and no, theres nothing in there about the throttle cable thanks tho

    Don't know if this will help but the VX throttle cable is about 400mm shorter than the VT one. might do the job. Obviously you would have to re-route it to come off the driver side strut tower. New from Holden $$??? wreckers about $10 to $20, just pick the best one you can find. I got a near new one from pick'n'payless in sydney for $10, looked like it had just been unwrapped. Sorry 'bout that, I just noticed your location. Townsville? Hmmm, wreckers thereabouts are probably prone to charging a bit more than here.

    i have a vx man so its already shorter.


    i throught someone with a revsed plenum would have helped out abit here

    are u bolting on a turbo or something? can i ask what is the benefit of putting on a reverse plenum?
    doin skids for the kids and doughnuts for the grown ups

    oh ok now it makes sense, pm claudy, ive been watching his project vt turbo thread and he has reversed his plenum and has seemed to work it out

    Im reversing the plemun because im sick of hearing the cool pipes rub together from inside the cab. Plus its less pipe work that way and less restrictions, I dont think ill gain much by doing so by i wanna.
