Removing an engine

Hey fellas,

Quick question, i have always wanted to remove an engine and rip it apart, clean it and put it all back together.

Never done it before, Can someone with experience in this area give me a heads up to what i need to do to prepare for this?

Mostly worried about reinstalling, hooking wires and cables up etc.
