Hey fellas,
I was just going through my holden memories and something clicked into my mind that i thought i should ask you guys.
I knew a guy down the southcoast (SC Riders) His name was shorty and he was a car nut case. He had a VT commo gear'd like a tank and you couldnt fit your hand anywhere in the engine, it was that choca full of after market parts.
Anyway i asked shorty to take me for a ride, couple girls jumped in and off we went. He told me she was supercharged. As we were going along the highway were we doing what a powerful v6 or v8 would normally do until he put his hand under the steering wheel, flipped a switch and BOOM, flew like a jet. unbelievable. Not Nos btw.
So my question is, can you have a supercharger on your car and be able to turn it off and on?
I would love to be able to put on in my vt at some stage and having the option to use and not use a supercharger at my choice is amazing plus good on fuel i would presume?
Cheers.
I believe the SC14 supercharger is clutched, and that it is controlled by a switch.
One of these guys,
