or should i stick with the panel im planning to get a k&n pod from supercheap auto
cheers,
Hey mate, pretty sure you cant fit a pod into a stock airbox.
But here are some ideas on how to make it look neat...
VN VP VR VS VT VX VY WK WL CLUBSPORT HSV S SS CALAIS (eBay item 110634879088 end time 21-Jan-11 20:41:00 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats - then attach a Pod to the end of it.
RACE Flow Cold Air Intake for VT-VY Series Commodores - have a look round this site as well... its got some pretty good stuff.
Hope this helps!
Get a cheap panel filter like a Lukey or Drift. Pod in stock box = fail.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
pod filters are legal as long as they are in a box.. but yes major fail! get a cheap CAI
yes u can get it in, ill c if i can find a picture, but pretty sure i got it off here
I got a MACE CAI and loving it
got mine in the stock box, just made a custom bend, fitts good.
its f**king loud lol
* 1997 VT executive
* 2.5 inch Lukey catback
* Lowered on Munro shocks Pedders springs
* Fusion 1000 watt amp & Kenwood 12 inch sub & head unit
Wrap a damp face washer over the end of the MAFpipe. That'll flow heapz sik.
Well I bought the pod it was pretty cheap gonna fit it in the air box so it looks stock I'm wanting to cut a hole on the right side of the box and make another intake pipe going from the box to behind the light area seems there's nothing there anyone have any pics of how they did it?
Thanks
Worth a quick read of this site to get an idea about where you place the intake... I dunno if behind the headlight will be a positive pressure environment?
Ram Air
Consider this also. You actually get more air flow than a pod filter.
