Cool Replaced entire ignition system, still cant start on LPG

I have a series 1 VT, the engine seized a year or two ago and i had it fully reconditioned and an LPG system put in.

The cars oxygen sensor is cactus so ive been running it purely on LPG for 6 months (hardly driven at all though) the mechanic said this would be fine as long as it didn't backfire heaps. (which it didn't). During this time, and before the problems it started on the first half of the first turnover every single time.

Eventually the car would have trouble and stall ALWAYS at the point where the heat guage started to rise. It would then stall several times and so i resorted to letting it warmup and reigniting it every time it stalled. After 15 minutes it was hot and ran fine.

When hot, the car ran PERFECTLY i mean an absolute pleasure to drive.

Eventually it would start some days then others, requiring 6 second turn overs to do it.

Then it stopped starting at all.

I've since replaced the coil pack, DFI module (tried 2) spark plugs (bosch platinum .15) plug leads (top gun LPG leads).

The spark plugs were absolutely covered in carbon deposits , filthy black. The leads and coil pack i replaced tested fine on the multimeter. The new coil pack is only 2kohm less resistance.

I've looked all over the gas system and it looks like what is called a ring mixer , as theirs a circular thing about as big as a hamburger with pipes going from the dirty air in airbox, and a few other places i cant quite figure out. It makes a clicking noise after a few seconds when i turn on acc ( i assume its coming from there )

I got it done under the rebate and i think it was free from memory. It was done at fuel misers in hoppers crossing.

She still doesn't want to start and all i need is 1 start and i can save $140 towing the thing to the gas tuner. Yes I'm a tightass, im a student.

So the obvious answer is my gas system needs tuning, are their any tricks you guys can think of to get her limping to the tuner?

Or does anyone have these skills in NW Melbourne that doesnt thinking driving to a house deserves an $80 callout fee?

    Thanks in advance.

    SHE STARTED!!!!

And here is the interesting thing, i seem to of had success using this method when the electricals were bodge.

I left the ACC on for 10 minutes before attempting ignition, thinking if theirs power in the gas mixer thing it must be happier to be ignited if its been prepared for 10 minutes.

It almost started, then i turned off for 10 seconds, back on counted 10 and ignited and its fine.

Now the car idle is completely smooth, not lumpy their is no stalling

Seems to be fixed, logic tells me drive it straight too the gas tuner and of course its a Saturday. >.<
