Gearbox is about $2000-$2500, depending on what you want done.

Unless your motor is doing things it shouldn't I wouldn't worry about a standard rebuild.

What is wrong with the box that is in it now? 200,000 is not a lot of km if it hasn't had the crap thrashed out of it. Clutch may be getting on a bit if it already hasn't been replaced.

Get a rip shifter for it.
The standard items are SHITE. It will feel like a new gearbox afterwards.

im really keen on slapping a nice lumpy cam in it at some point just wasent sure if i would need a rebuild or not
What would be a good decent cam for it? ill also have a set of pacemakers headders and a twin 2 1/2 inch muffler system
Was thinking of waiting till after i slap a cam in before i get a Maf-less tune
