Engine only running on 4 Cylinders

Half through a 200km trip the VX dropped cyl 3&6 (no spark). Stopped at the servo natually I offed free advice by another commodore driver who said one of the coil packs had packed it in. I'v swapped over the coil packs, but 3&6 still have no spark.

HELP???

Hey mate I had the same problem in my VT, it was the coil pack also however I need the entire ignition module replaced (its basically the base plate that all the coil packs run off)

Yeah same thing happen to my one (ignition module) 2 days after I got it, lucky it was under warranty. that was 10 years agon and hasn't done it again

As above, i'd be checking your dfi module. Also give it an oil change asap as your sump will be full of unburnt fuel which has contaminated your oil.

Maybe check the 'plugs and leads too; one cylinder not firing will kill it's paired cylinder also.

get ur dfi from a wreckers.... $65 here with 3 coils..

holden wanted like 600+ and 200+ for dif mod and each coil..
