Default what need to be done to fit genuine VE wheels on the VT ?

    Hi guys ,

thinking about buying a set of genuine VE wheels and i wanna fit them on me VT ,

i've heard the VE wheels center bore need to be machined ? how many mm need to be machined off ?

do i need new wheel nuts ? as VE have bigger wheel studs ? VE wheels stud holes , are they bigger than me VT wheels ? if i need bigger wheel nuts , what size do i need ? where to buy ?

last , 235/40/18 is a good size tyre on VT ?

    Cheers

yer ve centers need to be bored out ... jst a couple mm 2 i think... some one else will know.

jst use ur std wheel nuts, if there std. they should be taped so no problems there...

what stds on ur vt??? if its calias or s pack. 235/40 is the right size,,, only put ur speedo out by like 1-2km going at 100.

any bigger then 235 will hit ur gaurds.... so 245-45 is ve size, ull need new tyres..

VT centre bore is 69.5mm, VE is 66.5mm diameter.
VT use 12x1.5 studs, VE use 14x1.5 studs.
VT use 21mm nuts, VE use 22mm nuts.
VT wheel torque is 100-125nm, VE is 170nm.
Offset is the same for both base models.
PCD same for both models 5x120

    It's not a modification that I'd recommend.
