    Default Automated Antenna extensions

    Hey guys,
On my VX when i turn my head unit on, my antenna also extends to full reach.
I know this is normal, thats not the problem.
I only ever use my AUX port, never the radio, and look like a spack driving round with my antenna up blasting out non-mainstream music.
Is there any way that I can stop the antenna from extending myself? Or is it an auto-elec's job?
    Cheers

Just add a switch to the power wire.

Just splice into the wiring and add a on/off toggle switch , splice into the positive +
so when you dont want to to go up when you have the car on switch to off then when you want to turn it on etc

THe inner guard is that big black plastic thingy that fits around the inside of the guard . If you undo the screws that hold it on ( just the ones near the antenna ) and pull it back ,you will see the antenna motor and the wires
