hey guys ive just bought a 1998 v6 executive and im just wondering what kind of performance i would get from a lukey 3.5 inch exhaust system with extractors and a ultra high flow air filter and a tune to 98 octane fuel?
absolutely nothing! you'll lose power. 3.5 inch is way to big for a n/a v6. It'll make a lot of noise a nothing else.
If you meant 2.5 inch then you should gain a few extra horsepower.
so go 2.5 inch cat back?
what can i do to get a bit more power without spending to much?
ive only got this car untill i get my patrol to get me to and from work

12mm plenum spacer, 25mm manifold insulator. If your funds stretch far enough go for a CAI as well.

then why bother at all??
Oh you mean an ULTRA high flow air filter....
Thats worth an extra 20rwhp
Take it easy...But do take it...
Do not argue with an IDIOT.
He will just drag you down to his level an beat you with experience.
Some people take me the wrong way, Like smacking up Marijunna.
Are you just looking for better launch? Get a higher ratio crown wheel and pinion for your diff. It will drop your top speed (not much, who needs to be doing 200kph) but you will get away from the lights quicker. You might also have to change the little plastic gear in your speed sender unit for correct reading on your speedometer. Couple of hundred dollars and less down time. Takes about 2 hours to change the crown wheel and pinion.
