Default need advice on vt clubsport r8

    hey people,
possibly be upgrading to vt clubbie soon.
this would be my second holden i have ever owned, so not to sure what to look for.
my question is, what faults and or problems do theses cars commonly have?
the car is a 99 vt clubsport r8, 5.7, auto

any advice would be greatly appreciated

check out what owners say here>>>>>> 2000 HSV Clubsport R8 VT Comments (r36945)
any advice would be greatly appreciated
heres 1 comment >>> "Fast and furious, but high maintenance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Numerous tail & brake light replacements.

Front driver side spotlight would not turn off, disconnecting the lead from the spotlight was required.

    Water pump blew at 120,000km.

    Air-conditioning broke at 104,000km.

Passenger side back seat belt pre-tensioner broke.

Driver front seat foam falls constantly onto back floor.

Engine light switch broke, causing an expensive replacement.

Electrical problems, causing light to work then stop suddenly.

    General comments?
The car's power is very good when running properly.

Very unreliable, although seriously addictive to drive.
