VT Parts

Hi, yes my very first post but u all have started here at some stage so bear with me!
I am wondering where in sydney (preferably closer to the eastern suburbs) is the best place to get holden parts eg, seats, engine, etc?
Also im curious to see what other model commodores can use the same parts as a VT (interior as well as exterior).
Lookin at what i can do to a 99 VT Berlina.
Im sure there are quite a few enthusiasts here so your help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know what you need but there is a WL statesman at Blacktown, apparently a private sale wrecking. Wave the right money under his nose and you have a 6 liter V8 leather upholstery and so on. WL HOLDEN STATESMAN CAPRICE 6LTR WRECKING VT VX VY VZ (eBay item 180618220930 end time 04-Feb-11 19:25:01 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats .
It has been snotted so no front end bits but it looks like everything else is OK

So a WL caprice model interior will fit into a VT no worries or does there have to be modifications?

Just wondering also how many of the different models are compatible with each other without modifying anything too much, starting with the VT?

Caprice has a slightly longer wheelbase but that is so rear seat passengers have more leg room. If you get the whole car, you will need to use the WL wiring harness and computer to use the 6 liter engine. One more thing, there is a minor difference to the rear seat but an easy mod to fit them. Once you get the seat in place you can see what needs to be done. I would love to have 400ci of grunt but beyond my capacity to pay for.
