VT rear middle seat, removing plastic bit?

Is it possible to remove the plastic piece (with the cup holders) that is on the rear middle seat or is it welded in?

Hey Michael

To remove that part of the seat, remove the bottom part first (there are tabs that you pull forward at the base of the seat in the foot well.
Then you will see a bolt at the bottom of the right and left hand sections of the seat, remove these and slide both sections out.

Now take a look at the cup holder bit, there are 4 bolts you will need to remove and the center section lifts straight out.
