    Default Camber Kits

    Hey all,

Got bad camber on rear tyres so I'm in the market for rear camber kit. I heard theres 2 point and a 4 point kits - what is the difference? And what brands are out there.

A two point kit is exactly that, two point adjustment. The rear control arms have four inner bushes, fitting a two point kit will only give you either camber or toe adjustment depending on which bush you fit the kit to.

A four point kit gives both camber and toe adjustments.

There are different kits available brand wise, and everyone will have an opinion on what the best one is. I sell SuperPro four point kits for $160 plus $15 shipping.

I thought the different camber kits were for different models:

4pt Camber Kit Suit IRS VT-VX1
2pt Camber Kit Suit IRS VX2-VZ2

Is it easy to install a Camber Kit to a VT S2 S-Pack??

Cheers and how much camber can you give it? can you make it more?? so the tyres 'squat' more??

Might be a stupid question so yeh, be nice haha

You can give it more camber, but why would you? You will just wear the tyres out faster.

You can put 2 or 4 point kits in, but the VX2-VY already have toe adjustment so the 4 point kit isn't really necessary.

My car is standard height ,i went and put a camber kits in like everyone on here told me to do ,yes it helped but didnt fix the problem so i ended up buying a complete VY rear end for the same price i paid for the camber kit .I no longer have any problem and my tyres are good it was the best money i could have spent ,the car has had 1 wheel alignment since i put it in i dont need to worry about my tyres any more untill they just wear out like tyres do ,there is a post called VY irs into VT have a look but if you are keeping the car for a long time and want your tyres to last put a VX 11 to VY rear end in your car ....price from $200. to $400 i have already made my money back ..

wat about install costs? as any1 who installs or sells the camber kits tell u that no they wont fix the problem 100% but do improve the problem 2 around 80%-90% better depending on the individual car, which is fairly high compared 2 wat it used 2 b.
