VT Central Locking Problem...deadlock?

my drivers side central locking kept locking me, making me have to manually unlock it (pain in the neck), took the trim of looked at the acuator still getting power, enough volts, but magically its all better, no need to manually unlock the door. just wondering what happened and if it happenes again and or to another door it would be nice to know how to actually do it rather than playing with it and just being lucky. thanks

Hey, i just bought a vt and it has the same problem, all doors work except drivers. Glad im not the only one, but hope someone knows the answer to this one.

Change the actuator. Common problem. E-Bay jobby.

Try unlocking the deadlock.

Unlock the door with the key "twice"

yeah its all good at the momment, ive always had the bad luck of it not working then working a week later then it just dies after a while.
might actually get the whole thing replaced but i dont really know how to get it out cause it is in a tight spot inside the door.
