New rims in 2 weeks ; )

Ok, after deliberating still over some new rims ive decided against spending $3-6,000 for a set as i think thats nuts lol
here are the ones im getting in 18's they are VW-815's....also the best part is the black insert things can be taken off so really i have 2 sets of rims for the price of 1 and all with decent tread for less than $2,000..reason for choice i like the finnish and wanted something unique instead of the same ole getting around : )

Not a bad rim, maybe a bit too bling for my personal taste, be good to see how they look on the car.
I hear ya about the rims, I don't see too much point spending more than 3k on them. It's nuts.

Im not very keen on them, honestly id prefer stockys or some VZ hubcaps.

each to their own, but personally, if i were to buy a car with them mags on it, i would be using the 2k to buy new rims, i find them foul

there pretty cool and i agree about the price thing. but the 'bling' sort of rims can look pretty out of place on the wrong looking car

yeh i know what ya saying..white's hard to match good rims i think, ive got the stock mags on now which look ok just want something different but not full chrome thats why im opting for the break-up with the black plus goes with the rest of my car!!

i like them better than the other 1s but i wouldnt buy them, most mags in full black no CHROME will normally look good on a white car,chrome is so 90s.

Those are better then the originally ones you showed. But im not to keen on large chrome rims on commodores, however the more thinner black machined chrome wheels I do find more appealing.

I reckon try to get a nice Gunmetal Grey rim, most of them suit all commodores, or get a black machine rim, which has more black then chrome, or no chrome at all.

Yeah...sorry not a fan huge chrome doesn't belong on a stockish commodore. Belongs on a show car or a limo

ok last option is these foose df5 in 18's..can get them for $325 a rim and i think look awesome aswell as been foose haha

if your paying a lot of money for rims go 19's or 20's 18's look to small

I disagree, go 18s, much cheaper tyre's, cheaper rims and they are not really that small. And the police will prob bother you less.

I would have advised agains't $6000 wheels as they cost more then the car is worth. So, reasonable choice on that front.

i like that vkcommo nice snd simple. cant stand black with chrome lip though haha so many commodores around where i live have them and they are nearly the identical style of rim .....advanti somethings
