Hi all,
This is my first post here, and I’m sorry that it’s one that has been covered before.
I did a search and read heaps of posts, but didn’t fine what I was looking for.
I have a VT 6 cylinder, about 8 months ago I replaced the tensioner pulley and just for good measure a new serpentine belt. I brought the new aftermarket pulley from Sprint Autos. After I put the new pulley on I could see the belt doesn’t sit central on it. It sits more towards the front of the car.
I was a bit concerned about it but it worked fine until just the other day when it spat the belt.
I put the belt back on and all seems fine again.
My question is : If the tensioner looks fine and all other pullies look fine,, is it just this after market pulley is ****,, or is there something else going on here.
Thanks to all that reply
