Lighting help

Hey guys,

Just have a few questions in relation to wiring up a few things in my '02 VX II Berlina S/Wagon.

Firstly I have a VX SS Front Bar that I want to put on. Now I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of buying a relay from Holden and plugging it straight in to the fuse box. Then finding the plugs on the wiring harness and plugging the lights straight in. And the loom behind the dash should also have the plug for the switch. Can anyone confirm if it is this easy? Does my Dash have the light to show when the fog lights are on?

Secondly I am installing a set of VX Calais Door Trims. What is the best way to wire up the courtesy lights? Do these come on once the ignition is switched off or only once the door is open?

I would also like to install the sunvisors with the lights either side of the mirror. Again, what is the best and easiest way to wire these up?

I did do a search on both the courtesy and sun visor lights but could not find anything

yes it is that easy.. just need to buy a foglight switch and either cut a hole in your dash or get a ss dash.. other then that your spot on!

fog lights wiring might not be there, wasnt in my vt s s1,
easy way to tell, look at ur fuse box, where the relay is, and pull another one out and place into fog lights. if it fits firm then u got it, loose and moves side to side, then no

door lights , if its got the wire just connect it or run a new wire to the light under the dash if you have one
