    Default front shocks

    need to know how hard it is to change front shocks on vt wagon does the whole strut come out or just the shock///

    The front shock is a McPherson strut and a sealed unit. The shock and spring are all mounted together. They have to be removed, the spring and top mounting hardware swaps over to the new strut.

    do you need spring conpressers to change the spring or is the shock long enough to deconpress

    If they are standard height springs, then yes, you will need spring compressors.

    ull need spring commpressors to do it no matter what, its a saftey thing in case it pops out and hits u

    They're only $60 for a pair of good quality ones. Don't waste your time with shit ones.
    VX2 Executive Sedan - 3.8L Auto (for now)
    VT SS Sedan - Supercharged V6 Auto (Genuine L67 SS)
